Who We Are
Thermonics Incorporated was established in 1976. Thermonics' products provide hot and cold electrical test environments for ICs, hybrids, and other small components. Product offerings include precision temperature forcing systems and custom-built thermal test fixtures used for testing semiconductor devices at temperatures ranging from very cold (-130C) to very hot (+225C).
An additional business unit, FETtest, provides complete test systems for discrete components and power discretes including FET, TRIAC, SCR, transistors, diodes, zeners, sense FET and SBS devices. Our equipment is widely adopted and there are over 3000 installations of our products in the global semiconductor industry, meeting the needs of a variety of temperature test requirements..
Our participation in the development of systems to temperature test semiconductors provides us with many opportunities to develop new types of equipment for this evolving industry segment. Consequently, Thermonics' engineering department has accumulated substantial technical design expertise in providing localized temperature-controlled environments for many types of semiconductor devices. This depth of expertise has lead us to develop competitively priced test systems that provide ease of use, high productivity and test accuracy as well as maintenance savings for our customers.
